Emmy Watch
One of the only happy moments of the night. If it weren't for Conan and Bob Newhart, I would have stopped watching. I mean, Scrubs, Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson, Grey's in general, Steven Colbert (to Barry Manilow!!), Project Runway, Entourage, and I have to say it, Kenny Ortega, and the list goes on and on. All of these non questionable people who were supposed to win didn't win...it was ludicrous. This is all the evidence needed to know that the voters don't even watch TV, they just fill in old favorites.
I did love Conan. His montage with Lost and the Office was sweet. I loved, LOVED singing and dancing to "Trouble." He had some great jokes, especially his rules for accepting. I also liked the acceptance speeches by the director and writer from "My Name is Earl." To know my feelings in a much more witty manner, go here. Night all.
