(no subject)
so, i am in san fransisco right now, and it is an absolutely amazing amazing city. i am so in love...i cant wait to be odne with school so i can move out here. really. we shopped on a street called haight street today and it was absolutely amazing. i bought a rainbow wrap around skirt and a really pretty purse...couldnt wait for the one tracy is supposedly sending (i love you). we went to arizona and visited my great aunt and uncle. they are two of the cutest old people i have ever met. they are 87 and she takes care of him and it is soooooooo cute. my aunt ethel will live forever. at least i hope so. tracy, she told me a lot about her past and it is really interesting. i hope i get to talk to her more before she dies, (which doesnt look like it will be very soon). they act more like grandparents than my grandparents do on that side. i swear she told me she loved me about 60 times in 2 days. it makes you feel really good. none of my grandparents were particularly grandparently. we go to yosemite tomorrow to hike for a couple days, then we are going to come back here and meet up with my parents hippie friends. i want to be a hippie.
in other news....i broke up with taylor. therefore, i continue to be the breakerupper instead of the broken up with. it just....wasnt working. we didnt have anything in common, and i realized that this summer. i didnt want to hurt him AT ALL but i would have hurt him more if i kept pretending. he seemed ok with it, which leads me to believe maybe he came to the same conclusion? i hope he wasnt just acting ok for my sake. im not worried, there are about 10 million girls at sarah lawrence that would love to have taylor as a boyfriend. he is a wonderful wonderful person...it just wasnt there. he made me promise we would still be friends, which made me sooooooooooo happy. i dont know if i would be able to cut him out of my life completely. he was one of the best things that happened to me last year, and it was VERY hard to let that go.
back to school in 10 days after i get home from california. weird. chris said the cops arrested one of the people from that party out of their house the other day. i had a dream last night that the police were waiting for me when i got home. scary. oh well, i didnt do anything wrong.
