I've gotten so many goodies!
Those of you who've known me for a while know that one of the few consumer oriented things I like more than getting near superhuman deals thanks to clever couponing is getting cool things for straight up free. Well those things have been rolling in like crazy in the past few days and I couldn't be more excited. It's like having an early Christmas, but without any of the obligation when people you don't really know give you things. Some of these things I'd even forgotten I sent away for. What have I gotten, you may well ask? Let's take a look at the current tally.
Veria - A couple of nicely sized moisturizer samples that will be perfect in my overnight bag, as the packaging won't break when it gets cold in the night (I leave it in my car, you see).
Red Gold - They ran a
free tote bag promotion a while back and the bag I got is so much nicer than the one on that page. It's 4.5 inches wider and 1 inch shorter than promised, which makes it a better fit for my height and the perfect dimensions for farmers market swag, as the bottom is rounded, thus eliminating awkward fabric pulling when one carries a squash or watermelon. Squee!
Food Should Taste Good - 4, that's right, 4 coupons for free bags of their chips. If you've not had them yet, you should. They live up to the hype and I've been saying this long before they gave me anything. I'm a huge fan of their sweet potato chips and while they're definitely worth the price, I'm just tickled to have four freebies stored up for a rainy day.
Barnes & Noble - Okay, not really a freebie, as this was a gift from Steve & Laura, but it still means I get cool things for free. I've already decided that one of those things will be the
Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving, which I've fallen madly in love with and need a personal copy of, otherwise the library will get annoyed with me for never letting anyone else have it.
I feel downright pulchritudinous. :)
