[Three. There are three Shellys! HAA HAA HAA.
The two older ones - that is, the one you're used to seeing at DDD and
a slightly older one who not only appears to have some sort of injury but also even more white hair in his crazy fauxhauk - are cheerfully chatting it up;
the much younger one, who would probably be unrecogniseable save for the shape of his face and his straight posture, is just watching them, seemingly starstruck.]
It is quite a conundrum, really. By my perception of the events, you should already be me - that is, you should have already gone through the events that I have, if it truly has been over a year.
Considering the circumstances, should we really be questioning this?
Perhaps... this virus amounts to little more than an illusion. What we do here will not affect what has happened, or what is to happen.
[The two share a brief moment of silence and then look at the younger Shelly as one.]
On second thought... I suppose there is no harm in letting you talk to her.
Oh. [So to the computer he goes!... How does it work?]
Well, now that we have come to that conclusion--
I will still not tell you what happened.
[DDD!Shelly makes a vague gesture meaning something among the lines of "fair enough".
The younger Shelly's gaze goes back and forth between his older selves and the computer.]
...
Well, surely, it can't be that complicated...
((OOC: Replies will come from baseball_to_be by default, but he'll call any of the other selves over if required!))
