Look, I was avoiding you on purpose. Everyone's been spouting all these secrets and I do not want to contribute. Got that?

I had been avoiding the community. Did it make you say something, too?

I let myself be ruled by fear.

But with others, an entire sector of citizens aren't murdered as a result.

I knew what they were going to do. I was there, and I didn't stop it.

What have you done since then? Do you run away anymore?

I try not to.

Then you're making up for it. People make mistakes all the time, and sure yours was a bigger mistake than most, but the only way to make things right is to move forward in a way where you won't make the same mistake.
