[Ed shakes his head, what he was doing he isn't actually sure, as he's still quite stunned about being in his house, the house that should be nothing but ash.]

I've heard the term mentioned before but I've never experienced one before so I...don't know.

[Meandering down the street, looking at the various odd and decidedly weird buildings before catching sight of one rather normal-looking human house. Wonders whether the occupant may be a bit overwhelmed, from the mundane look of the place, and decides to give a knock to be friendly]

A dragon. About this big [holding hands out to indicate the size of a housecat], and answers to "Rascal". The poor dear seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle.

[Something comes driving down the street near your house, something fast, black, and fairly loud. In fact, it's a motorcycle. Which stops, and go figure, the driver gets off the bike and takes off his helmet. For now he's mainly leaning against the bike and looking around, but you're free to approach him first if you'd like, or wait until he makes a move.]

[The noise draws Ed to the window and he blinks, staring at it. What the hell is that? It's loud and mechanical and he's weary of approaching first, especially with that contraption there. It could be a weapon of sorts. He steps back from the window, still looking out and holds his hands within each other. Just in case.]

[Mello places his helmet on the seat of his bike, unzips his jacket, and lazily makes his way towards the house. And shouts, because that's clearly the best way to tell you he isn't trying to sneak up on you. Oh, and you might recognize the voice.]

[The voice does in fact ring a bell and he blinks a little, dropping his hands and opening the door. He can't help but stare at Mello for a moment. Perhaps not what he expected, at least if he was expecting anything at all.]

You must be Mello.

[And he smiles because Mello is perhaps every bit as interesting has he expected. He looks up at him and offers his hand.]
