[A bit of static and, wa-la, Kamina appears on the screen.  He's injured.  Badly.  He's covered in cuts and scrapes and minor burns; the majority of the first two are bleeding, staining the wraps around his wrists and stomach.  An old-looking scar on his stomach is open and if you look closely, you can tell he's trying (and failing) to hide from the camera that he's cradling his left arm.  It could be sprained or broken, but it's going to take x-rays to figure out.  He moves a piece of hair that's falling into a rapidly developing black eye and clears his throat.  When he speaks, his voice is hoarse from battle and being a general loudmouth.]

O-oi, I'm gonna need some more bandages.  Anybody got some they ain't usin'?
