Two days ago I got a craving for a soft and chewy peanut butter cookie. So well I was at Ceader Hills Plaza, just after I paid the rent, I decided to goto the bakery to buy some peanut butter cookies. I got a dozen of them for $2.99! Right after leaving the bakery, I had one, and much to my disappointment, they were hard. I later complained about this to my parents, sighting the last time my father got peanut butter cookies from the bakery they were all soft and chewy. Adding the fact that last time, I didn't even have any of them until they were at least a week old, making the point that with even being that old they were still soft. As my soft cookie craving was not satisfied, yesterday, while at the grocery store, I checked out the cookie section for chewy cookies. I was only going to get one pack, but I noticed they were having a buy-one-get-one-free sale! So I had to pick up a second package. I had a few after leaving the store, and while chewy, it was not quite the way I like, and the taste was also not top notch, but I keep eating them anyways. XD Today, I had another peanut butter cookie, and discovered that it was much softer! Wtf? These things get softer the older they get? Amazing! That just means when ever I buy peanut butter cookies, I'll have to let them age a few days before I have any. But as a result, I ate the rest of those today and well as had several of the grocery store bought cookies.
