then you get to deal with all the stupid people that have no idea what you're talking about, and then after you explain it to them they try to make it sound like they knew all along , and that you're stupid for confusing them...

woman: can you check my ticket for me please?
me: sure *take ticket from woman...(Super 7, last night's draw)...scan barcode*
machine: ~do doo do do doo~
me: you've won two free plays and two dollars, would you like the Extra on your free ticket?
woman: what? i don't want a ticket, i want to get a ticket later
me: it's a FREE ticket, it's what you've won, and two dollars
woman: but i don't want a ticket... what is it?
me: you've won two FREE plays which is six lines on the Super 7 and two dollars... you can take the free ticket and the two dollars or you can spend some or all of your two dollars on the Extra
woman: *starts backing away* I don't want to buy a ticket now, I want to buy a ticket just like that one *points to the winning ticket in my hand* but I want to do it later *starts to walk away* just keep it or something... i don't know
me: *starting to get confused* (what doesn't this woman get?)
woman:moves back to the counter just give me something! no Extra!
me: ok *prints off ticket* here are your two FREE plays and two dollars *hand ticket to woman*
woman: *inspects the ticket viciously*
me: *points to ticket* two free plays, no Extra
woman: *scowls at me* this is what I asked for, why were you telling me something else? *grumps for a second then walks away*
