Pretty quiet here today, which is a godsend after the last three hellish days of frenzied exam takers scared of their shadows and after-exam takers worried about whateher their exams are safely uploaded or turned in. Got a few tasks to work on, some testing to do, but nothing too major. Been spending part of the morning MUSHing and also looking up my company's health insurance stuff to try to get Kacey covered under Domestic Partner status, so she can have health insurance and us not get married to have to do it. Looks like she qualifies now, so that's good. Goddess knows she could use some looking at medically to take care of some of her chronic aches and pains.
Kayla, the older of the girls, went back for her check up on his knees yesterday. Even though the girl has barely worn her braces and only is in the wheelchair at school when forced to be, she is healing, but slowly due to all the stress she still puts her legs through. Had she done as the doctor had said six months ago..worn the braces 24/7 and stayed in the chair..she's be close to fully healed now. So, she gets three more months in the wheelchair and gets to enjoy the summer from it, except for light exercise and swimming. One day, she'll learn, I hope. If not, in three months, she'll be doing another MRI on her legs and likely be going in to have pins put in. Yay, right?
