Here we are, as they say, many years later.
Though I seem to be the exception - you all have been here.
I can't even go back far enough by default in the LJ system to read all the posts I've missed.
Though the quantity has gone down, I don't see the quality diminishing. I look forward to the many ups & downs you have experienced. I'll read them all.
We live in Oregon now. It's so nice.
I still work on stuff creatively - I've done some visual art (collages, arrangements, photos and the sort) that I have been intermittently posting on various platforms. I never feel kind spamming peoples' friends lists, so I'll limit my crossposting. I'm most proud of my recent short "Animals In The Park." I cleverly linked it right there. I won't inline post it because does that even work anymore? ;)
Ten years is a long time to keep an internet journal. And yet... Here we are... as they say, many years later.
I have a paper journal, but that's different. This isn't just a notebook I can stroll up to and scribble something in. I have to log in somewhere; put special effort in to it - - and then to edit something to be appealing enough to the audience I'm posting to! I'm proud of my own self for keeping something like this up, though in a far condensed form than when I started.
Let's reconnect. I'll log in if you promise to write. I'll read back if you promise not to delete old entries!
