first note
so I'm here on staff duty out here in Baghdad, first time writing and all I figured I'd give this a shot. Things move by slowly most of the time, but sometimes the days can move fast. I really don't miss much from home, but the things I miss I do miss terribly. I miss my son Hunter, missed birthday number one because I was in training and birthday number two cuz I am deployed. My family who always seems to worry about me even though I'm as safe as safe can be out here, it's there job to worry. And of course my lovely girlfriend Sarah, I still don't know how you put up with me. Either way I make do out here and I will be home soon, though I make no promises as to when.
