I miss my dog.

I told Skyeler earlier this year that I don't make New Year's Resolutions--and I stick by that, however, I do make goals. I think the business I'm in has really framed my mind to set goals and do whatevver it takes to achieve them. I like to set attainable goals so I can implement an action plan to reach these goals. Up until now I have not set any goals for 2007, but I think I will right now:

  • Control the Controllables My life is such a scattered mess right now. Just as soon as I think things are starting to go well...I get into a car accident or get notices from 2 leasing offices, taxes, etc. Life isnt going to slow down, so I have to catch up. So in order to do that I am gonna get organized. As much as possible. No more procrastination. Cleaning up my room. Keeping my desk clean. I am going to control what I can.

  • Health I recently turned 23 and it sounds funny, but I can feel my metabolism slowing down. At certain times I have felt my heart beat after I eat. And one of my co-workers' husband just had a quadruple-bypass. That said, I am going to do my best to become a healthier person. I have already started to drink (a lot) more water. What I need to do now is figure out how to eat healthier. The retail work environment isn't the most condusive to healthy eating, but that will not be an excuse. There are plenty of options out there.

  • Living! 2006 was my homebody year. I made it my focus to pay off debt last year, and though I accomplished that goal, I noticed that I was not very happy. I didn't get to go out and really enjoy my life as much as I would have liked. Thats easily corrected
