Blackest Night has not only been an utter blast, it's continued my unbroken run of great cross-overs (following on from Reign of Kings, Messiah Complex and Utopia). The new Transformers spin-off, Last Stand of the Wreckers, is precisely what I want from my giant

Love the look of this!! Kyle manga armour is a throw back to when I used to collect Green Lantern. Not a big fan of the old school looking football helmet on John but this cover has me excited about GL for the first time in awhile. What's happened to Kyles' girlfriend is she not in GL Corps?

It's been a sweet, sweet tonic indeed, these past few weeks, to have good comics to take my mind off my troubles :)

And I think John's helmet is meant to be a marine helmet... the desert variant with all the padding and such. Like in Blackhawk Down.

Meanwhile: Soranik, Kyle's girlfriend and the GLC's doctor/surgeon, is indeed in the book. The new writer confirmed that a few weeks back.
