Despite my best intentions, I've been absent from LJ longer than I intended :( Three weeks of nights (with associated zombie brain) then followed by seven days in a row without a break! I seamed to spend most of my time between work and bitching about there not being enough hours in the day

Yeah my brother has impeccable timing! I'm going to buy a few extra treats for C and the girls, and give them all the support that I can :/

I'm too angry with my brother to even talk to him at the moment, but right now he's too much of a coward to talk to anyone :/

I think that referring to her as the "thing" is a good idea and it reminds me of the 1982 movie "The Thing"

Hahaha. Strange now that you've mentioned The Thing I am not thinking about that other weird film "The Stuff". But at least calling her a thing is a less vicious attack on her person and more lady like.
