(no subject)
Despite my best intentions, I've been absent from LJ longer than I intended :( Three weeks of nights (with associated zombie brain) then followed by seven days in a row without a break! I seamed to spend most of my time between work and bitching about there not being enough hours in the day.
Then of course there is the ongoing drama of my brother's bad behavior, he's finally gone and done it, and left his wife and kids just before Christmas! I ran out of swear words to use on him and had to get creative with the insults, but unfortunately it was all wasted on the ignorant git!! He's moved in with a woman from work (who for her sake I hope I never have to see) The worst part, and yes it is possible, is how cruel he's been to 'C'(sister in law) about the whole thing, he's said some pretty horrible things to her, because of that I'm ashamed to say that he's my brother, and he's dealt with the whole thing in a way that is just cowardly :((
As for her aka.... actually there are several words for her (suggestions welcome), none of which I'm going to color LJ with right now, spoke to C when she went into my brothers work and said that she was worried that my brother might be having an affair, and reassured her that "he would never do that to you and the girls!" Actually I do hope we meet up....
I knew calm and settled was abnormal for my family, it's just incredibly sad that C and the girls have to get caught in the crossfire. Mum and I are supporting her as much as we can, but at this time of the year.........
