After thinking about it for a while (and seeing the poll results), I decided to make my new layout the view I saw every autumn growing up. My header is a picture of Pilot Mountain in the autumn, and it brings back memories of my hometown.

It's time for a new layout, mood theme, and default icon. My problem? I don't know what I want. I wouldn't mind having something to do with writing or autumn or mountains. But I can't seem to decide. So, I think it's time for a poll:

I'm thinking it's time for a summer-y type layout, friends. I'm kind of leaning towards something with a surf theme. With Halloween approaching, it's time to start thinking about my layout. Last year, I did vampires. The year before that was witches. What should I do this year? Any suggestions?

Okay, at some point I'm going to have to invest in that rotating banner code. But until then, I need help deciding on my next layout.

So it's time to change up my layout once again. Does anyone know if there's a way to add a header to the Bloggish style layout? I like it, but I'd love a header. (I'm actually thinking about a Jon Walker from Panic! layout in honor of me going to their concert on Tuesday.)

*Lets out a big breath* The surgery is over. I made it through and couldn't be happier that it's done. Whew. I've only been a little sore and I'll be able to go back to work tomorrow. So...good things all around.

Tomorrow is the big day. They don't even call it outpatient surgery...it's called day surgery, but I'm still a little nervous. I know everything will be fine, but I'll be so glad when this surgery is over.

It seems the new layout for A Small Drop of Ink will be a beachy theme with pretty boys. It won by a landslide in the poll.

"Nine in the Afternoon" is stuck in my head. I've only caught it twice on MTV Hits, and it won't leave. And i love it. I didn't like it when I first heard it, but I adore it now. Darn you, Panic! *Sigh* So, uh, anybody got a copy they'd like to share?
