Was amazing. It was a small event but full of wonder, emotion and growing comunity. I can't help but feel incredebly blessed and just plain lucky that I was able to find myself in such an enlightened and kind group of people.
but back to the event. first off we honored Jormungand in a completely silent, water faining late friday night. it is hard to put that into words. we had a long scarf that seemed to come alive in our hands. we all made a circle in the water, taking turns in the middle in complete silance. just amazing.
the next day was a faining for Gunnlod. it was good to see her honored and to learn more about her story.
that night we had a fire to honor all those we wished that wasnt on the scedual. it was a night full of singing and socializing. the next day was a medical history lesson and a faining to Mengloth.
but the most amazing thing by far was the Mani and Sithgunt possessory ritual. i can hardly do the experiance justice so i will say only that Mani said he would whisper secrets to me and help me break threw the barior keeping me from the gods if i mark myself with his symbol. i found the perfect one that same day but first i need to mark Loki on my body as i am his and it is only right that he be first.
Sithgunt on the other hand said only that i smelled familior and that all she could offer was her blessing as i was her brothers... and yet not quite. she asked that i speek her name and offer wine on ocation and that i remember to enjoy my devotions, that in doing so it brings them great joy.
well im typing this for the first time on my phone so i will end this here with a note that i have my Loki tatoo almosed planed out and my Mani tatoo ready. my faith has been strengthened and i only hope to see my new found comunity again soon.
