Routine is good
The weekend was pretty busy for us. Friday night my sister-in-law stayed for dinner with her boys. Saturday we had a fourth birthday party to attend at a local playground. Sunday, the girls and I took a trip to the city for some shopping and Sunday night we went out to dinner to one of our favourite restaurants.
The kids started back at school today for their final term of the year. It was peaceful, to say the least… Well, until they all came home again :/ Still, routine is good *nods*
My baby boy starts work experience this week *wibbles* He’ll be working two days a week (Thursday’s and Friday’s) for the next five weeks.
Tori dyed her hair brown while she was at her aunt’s house. It looks okay, but her friends prefer her as a blonde, so I don’t know how long it’s going to last.
Evil One needs her brain scrubbed too…
I bent over to get a couple of pounds of mince (ground beef) out of the freezer tonight and hubby, who was walking past me, cheekily stuck his finger up my bottom. Well, with a large, frozen package of mince in my hands I went for the tender, exposed flesh between his thighs (he was wearing his work shorts) as a payback *eg* Hubby squealed!
Tori: What are you two doing?
Me: *innocently and with the meat still in my hands* I was trying to get the mince between his legs.
Tori: *chokes* You what? You… You… *ewww*
Me: *frowns as her daughter’s expression goes from curious to horrified* Oh… The mince! *shakes the mince at her* I was trying to… Never mind.
Hubby: Just like her mother…
