Wow, Jen, you've been BUSY.

You have to buy your childrens' school text books though? Hrm...

It gets a little crazy at times *g*

Yes, we buy their text books once they're in high school (so much for free education *wink*). The books I covered for Maddy are all workbooks.

Australia day sounds so good. I wish we had a GB day. No religeous connotations or anything like that. It'd be great!

It is great! There's loads of fireworks displays and parties. Of course, there's a lot of country pride floating around as well - flags on cars, clothing with flags on or Aussie sayings :)

It's the time of year! I'm quite organized actually, so that's comforting :) From what I can gather of your 4th of July it is very similar - a celebration of the country with fireworks displays and parties :)

*hugs*

School time! :D

Glad y'all had a great Aussie Day.

You must take a pic of the chicken in her choir outfit. *beams*

Almost! They go back on Monday *whee*

It was really lovely just relaxing all day :)

I will! She probably won't get it for a few weeks, but I'll definitely get pics :)

No, we don't have Dobsons. There are heaps of places we can get 'school shoes' from - the black ones that look so uncomfortable and used to be when I wore them - but that's not what she wants for choir. They use shoes that look more like a pump and are a little more feminine (not to mention a damn sight cheeper than 'school shoes'). I just have to wait for the winter stock to arrive and I'll have a huge selection then :)

So I'm told :) My girls are just happy they don't have to wear them ;)
