13th of July caught in the rain
On the way to the hospital I was caught in the rain this mourning. Usually the trip takes me about 50 minutes to an hour, and it started raining about ten minutes in. defiantly the heaviest rain I have been caught in yet. The first time I came across the road completely covered by water I managed to skirt my way around it, the second time I realized my feet couldn’t get any more wet and just walked through it. I had an umbrella but even so by the time I got to the hospital the only parts of me that were still dry were my head and the lines across my chest from my arms from holding my umbrella, I was slightly worried the hospital security wouldn’t let me in. I had books in my bag and they all got wet. I’m most worried about my journal because it’s not like I can replace it.
Apart from all that it was a nice walk. There was far less traffic, so the roads were quieter and there was less smoke.
