Oh dear. The Roman writers seem to be infesting my brain lately. I just re-read my English termpaper and discovered that I have practically a whole paragraph that's an ablative absolute (a.k.a. an aside or a rant). But upon further investigation I realized that most of it actually is in the ablative and so actually is an ablative absolute therefore making it perfectly grammatically correct, of course, that is in Latin grammar, I'm not too sure about English grammar. *uncertain look* But luckily my teacher is obsessed with the Roman writers including all the old grammar rules and is a snob about them. So hopefully he won't mind, or even give me bonus points. *says with misplaced hope* if not I was doomed anyway.
