It's my day off!
Yay! No work today! I wish I were still sleeping though. As usual, I got a whole 4 hours of solid sleep and then about 4 hours of tossing and turning. My joints have been bothering me the past couple of days. Is it my crappy mattress? Maybe. Could be I just need more water or vitamins or exercise or all of the above (which I'm sure I need regardless). Could be arthritis. I suppose I should go see the doctor about it if it's becoming the issue it is. Right now my hips hurt as I'm sitting here. Oh - I have to go put my laundry in the dryer...be back!
I really think I may start just going back to the laundry mat. Lately, people have been leaving their clothes in the washer and/or dryer for ridiculous amounts of time. I don't like to take people's stuff out but I just did since clothes were just sitting in both dryers (I have a whole 2 to pick from!) and the clothes were ice cold. There were clothes sitting in one machine so I've been cramming all my things in the other. At this point all that stuff has been sitting there, finished, for at least 40 minutes. I'm guessing longer since it was there and done when I first went down. It's one thing to leave your stuff in your own machines but in machines other people may need to use? That seems a little inconsiderate to me. If you tend to forget then set a timer. Something.
Anyway, off that rant...I have something much more compelling to talk about. That last sentence was full of sarcasm. I received a flyer from Petco the other day and while looking through it I noticed something I thought was rather odd. On the last page there is a picture of a dog standing on his hind legs amongst some bags of dog food. They were going for a Spring theme so there were all these digitally added flowers around. There was also a big flower strategically placed to cover his doggy bits. Seriously, a big, red flower right over the dog's crotch. It caught my attention because it just looked so odd! I went back through the rest of the flyer and noticed strategically placed price boxes as well. So now dog genitalia has become "bad?" Ok, perhaps on the dog that was standing on his hind legs it just wasn't aesthetically pleasing having his junk just dangling there. Other, neutered dogs might get jealous or something. It *may* have been distracting from the ad itself but so is the big, red flower. I don't know. It was all just a little weird to me.
