Part 7 - The Conflict
“Wise isn’t too bright, is he?” asked GXion.
“Naw, I guess not” said Devil Wolf. “But he is strong…but I think the two of us can take him.”
GXion wore a giant trench coat, combat boots, and an eye patch over his face. With a sudden movement, he drew out two six-shooters from underneath his coat. He twirled them around his fingers, doing some impressive tricks. Suddenly he stopped and aimed them right at Wise, saying “Bang Bang. Hope you ready to see why I love the Colt Single Action army.”
Devil Wolf stepped forward, and hair started grow from his skin. His fingers grew long claws, and his face sprouted a snout. Razor-sharp teeth filled his mouth. Within seconds, Devil Wolf was a very humanoid wolf. He snarled at Wise “You don’t want to do this. Back down now.”
Wise just drew his hammer up to shoulder length, and charged at the two with surprising speed. GXion and Devil Wolf dodged to the side just in time as Wise left a giant crater where they stood. While flying sideways, GXion took this opportunity to fire a few shots at Wise, who amazingly was able to deflect with his hammer. He charged at GXion, sending his bullets flying in various directions. But before he could Devil Wolf hit him from behind with a slash from his claws. GXion took this time to run away, reloading as he went. Devil Wolf began a fast and vicious combo of claws and teeth against Wise, who was barely able to fend off the assault with his hammer. Finished reloading, GXion fired a few shots at Wise, of which one disarmed the Pit Fighter. Taking advantage of this, GXion fired his remaining shots into the hammer as it fell to the ground. The multiple impacts cracked the hammer beyond repair.
Devil laughed, and said “Looks like you lost Wise. You have three seconds to get out of here.”
Suddenly Wise slammed his fist into Devil Wolf’s stomach, causing him to go down. Wheeling around, he slammed his fist into the ground, sending a shockwave towards GXion. It hit GXion dead-on, knocking him down. Wise then picked up Devil Wolf by the head, and cocked his fist back. But before he could punch, a shuriken hit him right in the hand. He doubled over in pain, and then was slashed across the chest by a katana, followed by a deep cut to his legs. Wise fell over, unable to stand. His attack stood over him: a man dressed in black, with a black mask containing a slit for the eyes. He was obviously a ninja. Twirling the katana in his hand, he raised it up and stabbed Wise in the face. Wise shuddered, and then disappeared.
“That should send him to Purgatory. The moderators should review his case and ban him soon” said the ninja.
Devil Wolf coughed as he rose to his feet. He looked over at GXion, who was prone on the ground. “Looked like he is knocked out, lordofring.”
“The hell is going on?” asked lordofring.
“There seems to be a problem. Seto sent us to find you…”
Meanwhile…
“You lied to us” yelled Blight. “Kyi wasn’t there at all. It was a complete waste of time to go there.”
“Kiaba must have moved him before you got there. She can be a sneaky ***** after all…” explained a man.
“Where the hell are they then?” asked Karcuru.
“I have no idea. Seto never told me where she was moving her to,” said the man. “They could be anywhere on the outboards.”
“The Superior has informed us of a new threat. Apparently someone else is looking for this ‘Kyi’ too,” stated ectopants.
“Who?” asked Magus.
“RockMFR.”
