Willow, Willow

Ophelia sings this beautiful and haunting song about a sad, old willow tree that her mother sang to her when she was a child. I would love to learn the full text of it and send it to Bri to sing to Willow, since it is always fun to sing songs that have your name in it. It is also meant to be a lullaby.
I was happily able to spend some significant time out on the farm with Bri, Willow and her warm and funny friend, Dawn. It was so much fun, being able to play with Willow, who is at the most incredible age where she is still as adorable and cuddly as a baby, but also as fun as a child. As soon as I got there I scooped her up into my arms and was finally able to say hello properly to her, by blowing zerberts on her tummy. Then I was like* oh yeah, hi Bri.* It was kinda funny. I was just so excited, and totally amazed by Bri's beautiful baby girl. We went out to see the horses, baby cows, dogs, and unfortunately there was a dead and skinned deer in the barn and I covered Willows eyes hushing her, no baby don’t look. (She was probably to young to even notice, but you never know) It was so wonderful for my soul. Bri and I got to have a nice long talk after the baby went to bed, and it took a while for me to realize that I was inside THAT house, the house that Bri has scared my socks o on more than one occasion by telling me the scary stories that originate within it. So, that was a little creepy. But we got over it, except wen her grandmother scared us half t death. I was able to meet many people in her family, which I liked, since I know how important her family is to her.
Funny story: Willow is playing in the living room with her uncle Kevin, and Bri, her grandma and myself are sitting on the couch. Odie a friend of the family came over and he has a very low and raspy voice, extremely raspy. As soon as Willow hears this man talk, she makes her own imitation of a raspy voice like Odie. She was all rarr rarr rarr. It was soooooo cute. She continued to do it all night long, especially wen she noticed we were talking about it, because to demonstrate it we would have to also make the voice as well.
Bri has grown up so much and I am very proud of her. I greatly enjoyed hanging out with her and I hope that everything works out in their favor, when they get to Virginia.
Lots of love and god speed.

On a side note, I am subbing again today. It is allot less exciting this time than it was at first, a ton of bullshit with the paperwork and the business administrator or whatever he calls himself is very, VERY rude and uncooperative to the point of using intimidation tactics and actually yelling at me on the phone, which made me cry afterward, and I feel that this asshole is a misogynist who is particularly infuriated by a woman (myself) talking to him directly and trying to reason something out with him, instead of just accepting what he says without question. I was truthfully, shocked at his lack of candor, and I was like you’re a businessman? You need to brush up on your people skills, for sure. Then, when I got here the secretary was very curt with me as well. When I tried to tell her of the communication difficulties that I was having with my paperwork and with the administrator, she didn’t want to hear about it at all, and was rude about it as well. This is making the public schools look much more appetizing to me. At least they don’t have an attitude about everything, and these people wonder why they don’t have very many subs? Its because their system is ineffective and offensive. After this, the most recent problem, I am confident that the mistake made last month was entirely the secretary’s fault, since there seems to be no end to this illogical, unreasonable fuckload of crap.
The point of contention being, my paperwork, namely my fingerprints and background check. Now if anyone has been paying attention, I have already had this done, and it was a serious bitch, in order to sub originally for the ferndale schools. There is a process for a sub who subs in more than one school, so that I don’t have to do this every fucking time I apply at a new school. It would be stupid to have to have a separate check every time, in fat idiotically stupid, so stupid that people don’t do it and there is a system to support it.. So, I sign a release waiver and the new school has a copy of my file sent over from the original school. Its all very neat and simple. I have even cleared it with the secretary at the Ferndale school, to prepare her and ask about how this is done, she is totally cool with it and is just waiting for notification from this school. When I finally, after several calls, get through to this guy and try to tell him what the situation is and inform him of what steps we need to take, he doesn’t want to hear about it, he interrupts me, he raises his voice and has the audacity to yell at me. he wants me to get a whole new set of prints and go through the process over again. I think that he must have not heard me right, like he just doesn’t understand. I try to go through it again with him, try to come to a viable solution that meets our needs, he wants nothing of it and totally losses it on the phone. IM like, this guy is a nut. So, I try to explain what happened to the secretary and why my paperwork is so late, because I’m having this problem. I figure, this guys temper must be well know since-come on, he freaked on me on the phone and really, who am I? But no, she looks at me with disbelief and mild dislike. SHOCKING. So, fuck this place, I’m not going to go out of my way to sub here and I’m going to focus on Ferndale or something else, this is totally unprofessional and disrespectful. I have decided to get whatever records that I can and it will have to be fucking good enough.
I had a great time with Bri and Willow though! I’m outa here in one hour anyway.
