Huzzah!
Just went to the Ren-fest with my family and it was a whole lot of fun. Nate is always a great date go with, and alot of fun. My mom and I had a go at the bunny fencing and we tied, which was good I think. I bought some horns to wear on holloween and some fantastic incense. My sisters boyfriend, nate and I had a water balloon catapult war, which was interesting. The jousting was fantastic and the venders are always splendind. We all had a hey day at the rock and crystal booth, and each came away with our own little treasure. All in all, it was great fun.
My rat, violet, continues to be a very friendly and affectionate example of her species. She is more cuddly than I expected and We are all getting alonge very nicely. The cats and her seem tohave some sort of arrangement, which they only sometimes violate to get a better look or playfull poke. She likes to hang out by the computer monitor when Im doing my homework or surfing the net. We just kind of hang out and she comes out when she wants a little lovin'.
My schedule has just started to settle itself, of which I am gratefull. The begining of the semester is always a little crazy. I really like the fiction workshop that I am in and I hope to produce something worthwhile in it. Ive got a lot of other paperwork that I have to do for school that I am kind of stalling at, but Im getting around to it, a bit at a time. The folklore class that Im in is pretty cool. Ive got a really good schedule this semester, folklore, fiction, and cultural anthroplogy. So, there all pretty cool realy. But, there is a lot of reading in them, so Ive had to put aside the Harry Potter series for now, but Ill get back to it when I dont have a stack of books Ive got to get through.
Im just taking things a day at a time, and latley is been really good days.
