I don't really have much to update, I'm just abusing my (totally funtional) computer. :)
Went camping last weekend with my folks. Most of it was fun. Some of it was utterly unpleasant. That part was fairly brief though. There was hiking, there was fresh mountain-y air, no one got eaten by bears, there were s'mores, none of the s'mores were eaten by bears either. So I guess that's all a person can ask for. Also, we were serenaded by at least half a dozen coyotes in the evening. It was really neat and a little surreal. They had us pretty much surrounded and couldn't have been far away. Very awesome. Wildlife sightings included several graceful and constantly surprised white-tail deer, several creepy squirrels, several chipmunks, some interesting birds, many rocks that were nearly mistaken for potential lizards, a hummingbird, and one red fox that was hanging out in a cattle pen.
I can't wait for Halloween. Not that I know of anything to do for Halloween, but I'm planning my costume anyway.
It's rained most of the day and it seems to still be raining. I'm trying to muster up some motivation to go to the gym.......
.......... I'll let you know how that works out.
Oh, last item of probably-not-as-interesting-as-I'd-hope business: yesterday (Friday, in fact) I finally installed Sid Meier's Pirates!, which I'd bought cheap a few months ago despite not having a working computer to play it on. At any rate, the important thing is that I'm an awesome pirate. This is common knowledge, of course, but I just want it down in the records that I am, according to video games and therefore real life, an awesome pirate.
