alright, so today was pretty cool.
Calc and english were pretty laid back, and my priv was a fun Latin II sit in, as it tends to be. latin was fun except that i have yet to break my silence really as far as translations go, cuz Tiffany claimed to first sentence, which was the only bit i had competantly figured out. so yeah, im too quiet in that class as far as actual work goes.
Bio, i finally picked a virus, i've got the mumps (which make you lumpy? or bumpy? i think bumpy. measles make you lumpy...(come to the Style concert next Monday for context))
and Starky came home to us. that was awesome. he sang with us in choir, and in Style as well. that alone made the day fun.
drama went well. no Nicole. we did blocking for a song called The Speed Test, and that was pretty easy. I put myself in a character group with Sarah and Lavalley and Jill and Jake, so we pretty much beast, though Lavalley, Sarah and I are definitely the main attraction there (so little focus, we're so bad).
during lunch, Sarah and I talked about King Richard's Faire a bit, and i do wish i had gone, with Phil, so that it had been an NHS group, instead of kaitlynn pseudo-family and friends group that went. alas. i lament my potential inability to bring in even a plastic blade for Halloween, it bursts my bubble, though i can still be cool and break out the bracers (and if anyone happens to come across some long piece of black hemp string or leather or any other such long medium thickness tying implement, i need a new one for one of the bracers).
but i chilled with Phil on Sunday, and watched some anime and chatted a bit, so that was cool, though it felt oddly quiet without the raucus group thing going on, but im not against quieter gatherings.
i forgot to mention last time that i took the SAT's on Saturday, and that was joyous i must say. hopefully i did better this time (my parents would be pleased, and that would get them off my back a bit, which would be nice).
oh, and i also deposited both of my pay checks from the library that i have recieved (i sadly never found my way to the bank last month...pathetic i know), so i feel rather wealthy right now. i need to find something to splurge on...how much longer until the next comic convention i wonder...hehe
and now i have to get back to my excessive amounts of A+ homework that i've procrastinated on doing until tonight. i love my genius work habits.
oh, and interesting fact that amused me in my readings.
computer ports have genders associated to them, male and female (obviously). a male port (usually a serial port) has pins in it. the female ones have a whole bunch of holes in them for male port pins to be inserted into.
just thought id share that risque tidbit of computer terminology.
