My day started off with a nine a.m. phone call from Q.E.D. Systems, one of the prospective employers I've given my resume to. I was pretty sure they'd hire me, but as a fire watch at $14 an hour. The bottom of the totem. Turns out they hired me as an Electrician 2. I have no idea how they rate such things, or what the salary is...but it'll be more ( Read more... )

Wow... Do you ever feel like your place has become a crash site? (Weren't you thinking on relocating at some point?)

Should all go well, I could 'crash' there as well as early as next Friday...but more likely Saturday. ;)

I put off moving out due to a couple of factors. The first being...I was unemployed. The second...? I'm eligible to buy a house, and I'd like to take a shot at that rather than rent again.

You're welcome to 'crash' here any time. I'll keep the run way clear and the emergency vehicles available!
It will be very good to see you in the territory again. I've missed your face around here. That...and I haven't had the chance to introduce you to Kileen and Haeley...
