Finally got in touch with the Radiation Oncologist, had my first appointment today. Nice guy. Did his damn research, I have to give him that. He brought up things and problems that I hadn't thought about in YEARS. It's decidedly odd to be going to a doctor who actually LOOKED at my chart and took notes O.o. Survived poking, prodding, stabbing, needles, and all the rest, including a visit with a machine called the Mammomat (no, I'm not kidding, it was really called that.). I suspect a ice cream scoop was used to remove the nasty bits but I don't have any proof of that since I was unconscious at the time XD ( Read more... )

Going to have to be at the hospital at 7:45 am. Probably won't be released until around 5pm or so (that's PST for those of you not in the area)
