Sad chickie
Today my parakeet, Mr. Fribble, died. He chirped, bounced off walls and was exceptionally cute for 10 years. I wanted to bury him today, but Tropical Storm Fay was still dumping the ocean on us, so it's too wet. I'll put him in my backyard, let his remains nourish the earth and let new little trees grow. It's amazing how much a small animal can impact your life. :(
