Some of us from the Chicago-SF group (suburban faction) are meeting at the Buffalo Grove Theaters tonight for dollar movie night. We're going to see The Prestige - it was pretty popular so it's better to get there early. The show is at 7pm.

Went to Deja Vu last night with kittykatkatja and oneleggedman. Despite a couple physics issues that would probably make nagash cringe (particularly the laser pointer scene), it was quite a suspenseful movie. Certain parts were predictable due to the genre and premise, but there were enough twists and turns to keep you guessing and wanting to know how things played out. ( Read more... )

My weekend was mostly good, marred only by needing to help move my mother in law, who has been packing theoretically for almost two months, and who had SOOO many things still to pack.
