Accomplished!
Kat, Noel and I finally decided it was cold enough to purchase and install the plastic window coverings - you know, the ones that you blow-dry to make them stretch? We put them on the basement windows because they were starting to frost over, you see. We also closed the rest of the storm windows, since it was officially the first day of Winter. This is Chicago after all, it's likely to get REALLY cold eventually (the temp was only barely in the negatives as long as you don't look at the wind chill which I think was around neg30). ;)
Anyway, it has made a big difference already. Now we just need to get the drapes on the back entryway. Today though, is shopping for the christmas dinner. We're hosting Noel's family, because we're mildly insane and yet proud of having a house. :)
