Settling in update
The living room is still a cluttered mess. The kitchen is nearly done, the library is coming together nicely, and the office finally has a plan and should be together very soon. Unfortunately, we have no cable yet (and thus no internet), as the installer said he couldn't use ComCast's cables and needed to run a new line from the box... which is going to involve getting someone out to trim tree branches, as it's a pole box. So, maybe in a couple days. Meanwhile we need to decide where a couple more things go in the library/game room, then start playing jenga with the living room. Our plan is still to host gaming on Thursday (it's Jyhad this week), but we'll be kind of rough around the edges.
In worse news, Kat came back from her drive to work this morning comlaining about eye pain. I gave her my eye doctor's number but he doesn't open for another hour yet, hopefully he can get her in. One advantage to having extra roomies who aren't working, one of them should be able to drive her over. :/
