Apparently, I've lost my enthusiasm for blogging--as evidenced by a severe lack of posts here. I find myself skimming through MyLiveFaceDiaryBookLandJournalWitter, occasionally reacting to a few things, and that is it. I just haven't felt like writing, and there is nothing exciting or entertaining to share any more. :(
News of Note Fu
Ælfgifu loves the new couch. If we are on it, she has to be, too. She tolerates Ignatius being on-board, and Josie perches on the back of the couch just out of her line of sight. It has been both nice and aggravating to have Ælf' curl up next to me while I work on the newsletter. Nice, because she is being cuddly. Aggravating because she overheats me, and whines and claws if I move too much. Oh well. MMMMMMM! Plush kitty endorphins!
The Rule
We are maintaining our resolve not to sit on the couch and eat meals. Our experiment using television trays and the chairs in the library was a failure, but at least we know. We've managed to keep the kitchen table clear enough for us to have sit down meals like the traditional meal-times I remember from when I was growing up...except there is no television set blaring the news during our dinner. I'm getting used to it.
The couch remains reasonably free of debris as a result, but it is likely to be covered in car hair before too long. :)
