You know, my friend who had the diabetic cat which I helped to care for had a similar thing happen with the blood work/glucoes levels with her cat. If you want, I can ask Kate what the diagnosis was. I'm pretty certain he WAS diabetic, but it took quite a while to get everything balanced.

I think we've got it mostly figured out now. Ignatius goes back for another glucose check next week to make sure we've got the right amount of insulin per dose. He should be getting 4 units per dose based on his weight, but the monitoring they did yesterday indicates he can drop down to 1.5 or 2 units. Either way, it is still two shots per day. Bleh.
