Today was brutal. Not only was my entire schedule out of whack, my mom insisted that I had to change my math block just because of the teacher which counselors are obviously not allowed to do, so I had to make up some fancy smancy lie to get what I want. Ugh. *hates lying*
Anyways, here's my schedule for the year!
Day one:
Block A: Textiles Studies 11 (Yes, I like to... sew. Most people give me the strangest looks when I tell them I'm actually taking this course because I want to.)
Block B: Physics honors 11
Block C: Biology 12 AP (My teacher isn't that spectacular, but seeing as I've already learned the bio 12 component in summer school, it shouldn't be that bad... right?)
Block D: English Lit 12 (WE GET BEOWULF AND PARADISE LOST AND SHAKESPEARE AND. AND. *explodes with joy*)
Day two:
Block E: History 12 (Got the best social's teacher which makes me happy. History 12 teaches the same stuff that we learned last year - which is covering history from the 1919s to about present day - except it's from the world's perspective instead of just Canada's. Love Canada, don't get me wrong, but all said... we really didn't do much beyond a few major battles and peacekeeping.)
Block F: Math 12
Block G: Mandarin 11
Block H: Ceramics and Sculpturing 11 (Truth to be told, I'm only taking this course because there's not other art courses in that block. Nothing wrong with clay, I just prefer a pencil and a piece of paper to that.)
ARGH, first few days back and we're already getting tones of homework. And I'm getting about three textbooks on average for each of my academic courses which means my back will be suffering immensly this year. DDDD: (Does anyone have the red Campbell textbook for bio? THAT THING IS THE SPAWN OF SATAN. SATAN AND SOCKS.) I'm not complaining much about my other homework, it's just that why is my math teacher giving us Logarithm homework on the first day? My brain is not capable of higher thinking right now, damn it!
(I am... a bit of a history and biology nerd. Be prepared for random history or biology facts throughout my posts in the future. Like, did you know a person's muscles contract during orgasm because that forces the sperm up further so it has a higher likelihood to reach the egg? 8D)
