School's starting soon...
Just went down to my school tonight to check to see if my homeroom's been posted. I have Mr. Danahi for homeroom which is on one hand, great because he's an awesome teacher, and on the other hand, quite awful due to the fact that I signed up for Physics honors and to the best of my knowledge, he doesn't teach that. *worries*

Yeah, I... I kind of killed Japanese culture there with my slaughtering of the kimono, but... uh... hopefully it looks pretty?
I'm trying to learn how to do icons right now, and I think I've mastered the basics, but textures are really confusing the hell out of me. Sometimes I can use them and they work beautifully, other times, they hate me and refuse to co-operate. Anyone willing to give pointers?
Also, in a vain attempt to hang on to what little summer vacation time I have left, is there any books that people are willing to recommend me? I'm mostly a-hunting for anything on angels (not the 'guardian angel' stuff, but more of the 'Lucifer and the Fall' stuff), but it's quite hard to find any good books or comics on them. The only ones I've found so far are the Sandman comics, Not Wanted on the Voyage, Paradise Lost, Angel Sanctuary, and a few books by Christopher Moore. If anyone knows any good books at all, that'll be really appreciated! =D
EDIT: I don't know how many people on my flist reads Detective Conan, but this (http://www.avionicknight.com/V60-Reader/File620/A7.html I don't know why, but creating a link to it doesn't seem to be working right now) page from the newest chapter amused the hell out of me. The first gay couple in over six hundred chapters. xDDD
