Back in Cairo.
I pretty much slept all day cause I havent been feeling well.
I think I got (had a?) heat stroke yesterday.
We were in Luxor and basically had the day to do what we want to I put on my bathers and sat by the pool with my ipod. After a few hours I started having trouble breathing, it felt like the air was stuffy, which, of course, it wasn't cause I was outside.
I was really weak, to the point that I could hardly walk.
And I was nauseous.
So I went inside to get out of the sun. I was sitting in the room chatting with Robyn and I still couldn't seem to cool down.
Robyn convinced me to shower, said it would make me feel better, and it did. But about ten minutes after my shower I got so cold I had to put on sweats and a sweater, and even then I was still freezing.
Ever since then I've felt weak, like I did when I had my pneumonia.
So ya, pretty sure it was heat stroke.
That and a lack of sugar.
I've been drinking about 4L of water a day, and not really anything else. And the food here is very obviously sugar free. So I bought some juice to drink later, hoping it will help.
Because of all this I won't be climbing mt. sina (sp?) tomorrow, I'll be taking a camel up. I'm not up to walking 3750 steps up a mountain. I also really want to ride a camel again cause it was heaps of fun last time.
Oh, I got my book back. Muhammad, our guide, is amazing. He called up our driver from the day I lost it and had him bring it over. yay.
On the downside, I was going to watch some anime today, I put two new seasons on mu ipod, but when I went to do it I found out that when I had converted the eps into ipod format the subs were lost. So now I can't watch them T.T
oh well.
It can wait till I get home.
It just sucks cause we have a seven hour bus ride tomorrow and I'll have nothing to do.
