I have mixed feelings about the new ceramics studio space.
Pros:
-Nice new tables, shelves, KILNS (!!!!!)
-Separate rooms for glaze mixing, spraying, plaster room for mold making, etc.
-Nice display area, plus a soon-to-be-finished lounge
-NEW KILNS!! (did I mention this already?)
Cons:
-Very few wheels? I am confused. They say that there might be new wheels coming in, but they're the cheapest Shimpo ones, which look very ... industrial..... Honestly, Brent are so much cheaper and they would be just fine. Benefit to that, however, the old wheels have to go somewhere....... >_> (No! I already have one! >_<)
-Right next to the KOHLS CENTER. WHOSE BRIGHT IDEA WAS THAT? All of a sudden my professor is saying, 'hey, wow, we have like no elbow room here ever'. YA.
-No locker space, wtf. That means carrying all my tools back and forth from Humanities, which I guess isn't that bad, but still. Hassle.
