Scrub-A-Dub-Dub

I'm not so big on Spring cleaning. Or any cleaning, for that matter. But this year I seem to have decided to do a big Fall one.
Luke is super excited to put up the Christmas tree this year, so I promised him right after T'giving we could do that. (not looking forward to the cats finding out about this... Yikes!) But to do that, we HAVE to clean the living room.
In order to fix-- er, any food at all-- I have to clean the kitchen. I did 2/3 of the dishes today, and cleaned 2/3 of the counters as well!
In order to put out my mini!manger and newest C'mas decoration, I have to clean the dining room table. And keep it clean! Uh oh...

You see the problem. So I'm biting the proverbial bullet and taking the equally proverbial plunge. We'll see how it works out, especially because the "Several different people are coming to visit so I need to move away from the 'white trash' decor and leave it at redneck at the worst and therefore need to clean the porch" part is majorly up to my dad.
My front porch is the dumping ground for large trash that can't be taken to the garbage dump. So I have my old stove (don't WANT to know how long its been since it got replaced), an old couch my aunt HAD to have that has been sitting on my porch for several years, a computer chair, the cushions from the living room couch that the cats peed on...
Yeah.

So Molly, if you want to give me a heads up of when Chad might be bringing those bookcases by, I'm be much obliged. ;) Then I can give my dad a kick in the pants. "People are coming to my house! HELP ME!" --I might add that one is of the opposite sex. Sadly, I know that would make him move double time. Hey, you use what you can. ;) Mwahahahaha

In other news, Luke will be going to see his 2nd ever movie in the theater. He wants to see Tangled. REALLY wants to see it. I had to make a paper chain of how many days until it comes out. Every night he gets to eat his gummi bear vitamins and tear off a loop. Then he counts it. "1-2-3-4-5-6. 6! 6 days 'til Tangdled Up goes to the movie tea-ter and we can go see it? Six?"
Yes dear. Yes.

house, movies, kiddo
