Girl-ish Alert!
I want to decorate.
*twitch*
See, the new house is an old mobile home *shudder*. And therefore, the interior is wood paneling. ALL of it is wood paneling. Every fucking God-forsaken single wall is wood paneling.
Which is dark. And dreary. And monotonous. And boring.
Do I need to mention that I hate it?
And since there's little I can do about the avocado-colored sinks (yes, you read that right. AVOCADO. I feel like my bathroom could rival Stephanie Plum's. Or they'd get together and make more really ugly, 70s styled rooms... The horror!)... I want to paint. Mainly Luke's room because its small and he deserves something cute and I never got to decorate a nursery for him.
And maybe my room, b/c it just plain looks small.
And maybe the hallway because its a darkity dark cavern of doom(tm) if its not 8am with sun streaming through Luke's window.
And the kitchen only has a LITTLE wood showing, so it wouldn't take much to paint...
*shakes self*
Money first. Curtains second so that the sun streams a little less into Luke's window at 8am.
THEN paint.
I'm thinking light blue and light green stripes in Luke's room.
