Pretend
“I know you’re just pretending to be asleep.” Harry stopped pacing and pointed an accusing finger at the cat. “You can’t stay like that forever.”
He stepped closer. “Maybe I shouldn’t have chucked you outside when Ron and Hermione visited, but I wasn’t going to talk to them with a Death Eater in the room.”
“I didn’t know it was going to rain, did I?” Harry flopped onto the sofa. “And there’s no way I was going to dry you off.”
Cat didn’t move.
Harry huffed, stood up and headed for the stairs. “Fine...stay a cat for all I care!”
