Who ever said I played fair?jakiaJune 7 2011, 13:42:47 UTC
Hawke wondered, briefly, if it was possible to die of a broken heart, because surely hers was breaking.
"How could you? How could you just--use me like that?" She asks, her fist gripping the knife tightly, as if she wasn't sure if she wanted to stab him, or--or--
I loved you once. She wants to say, but doesn't. Why would you hurt me like this?Anders doesn't look at her, staring straight ahead into the night sky, like his fate has already been sealed. "You can't always play fair, Hawke. I did what I had to

<3 I love Elthina and those words were PERFECT to put in her mouth. I now ship Elthia/Book cross-fandom. Their combined wits would just make them the BEST couple ever. (And I can imagine them on a farm somewhere offering vagabonds hot meals and criticisms of their lifestyle in classy ways LOL)
Sigrun/Varric, first kissarysaniJune 7 2011, 14:40:17 UTC
Varric Tethras was nothing if not a smooth operator. He didn't need women (though he liked them plenty), he did need booze (it made his adjectives and adverbs come out to play), and an audience was paramount to the success of his craft

Merrill's ChildhoodmalinearJune 7 2011, 15:34:48 UTC
not...quite what I'd started out for but it's what I got nonetheless.
“She’ll never get to be a normal child, ma vhenan. We won’t even get to watch her grow up, not with the arlathvhen two months away.”
“We have no other choice. We knew it was a risk, with my own magic, for our children to share the gift. And there are so few amongst the Dalish now that can bear the mantle of Keeper, not enough for all of the clans to have someone to lead them should something happen to their own. We can not be greedy when we have both Keeper and First here.”
“I know that you speak the truth, I had just hoped...she’s only four...”
“She will make us proud, emma sa’lath. She will learn earlier than most and she will help our people thrive. And her new clan will love her as much as we do. No one can resist our Merrill, our da'vhenan.”
Prompts (almost forgot!): -In memorium -not until the last star fades -"Yes, exactly."

THEY ARE THE CUTEST THING EVER. Well, Sigrun/anyone is adorable, but the moment rose hinted at it, it has been my headcanon forever and always. THEIR SNARK WILL BE AN EPIC ROMANCE.
