SO. FIRST DAY OF WORK EVER: not bad! I learned a million things, most of which I'll have forgotten by tomorrow, and my legs and back are MURDERING me, and the cash register was doing its best to foil me (both by crashing, which apparently isn't unusual, and by giving me an empty drawer instead of the till with the money in, which is) but it was good. I like opening the security cases on little things. *lame* And everyone there was really nice, and they have really cheap cans of pop and so on in the lunch room, and all the little old couples shopping for digital cameras are adorable. And I didn't drown in my work shirt as much as I expected! Hurray!
And I made MONEY out of doing that. For some reason I find this really weird.

Meanwhile: Coldplay generally bore me to tears (I like a few of their songs but I don't think I'd be able to sit through a whole album of that) but this song is FANTASTIC. Well done Coldplay. Also, Firefox 3 is pretty nice now that I've got my extensions and everything back. There's a white bar above the tabs (I think only in the Vista version) that's bugging me a bit, but I'll live.
