RIP Moppy
Empress Moppet, known best as 'Moppy' or 'Mopps' or more recently 'Miss M', passed away yesterday evening.
Pete went into the garden to find her, just in front of one of her favourite hiding/sleeping spots. She only lasted a moment longer.
Mopps had a strong spirit, & the house was essentially run under her rule.
She had a thing for cheese & would sit at, if not on, your feet with her special 'food' meow until you gave her some. In fact, she would do that almost whenever he was cooking.... she knew he'd always give in to her charm. Otherwise she'd trip him over.
She'd call you from other rooms with an 'I found something, it's alive & it's wriggling' meow, only for it to be, 'Made you look. Cuddle now?'
I want to say more but it's hurting.
It wasn't expected.
