Caught up with an old friend at the lovely Oomphatico's a few weeks ago and tried the lamb. It wasn't great. The cut of meat wasn't fleshy enough and it wasn't worth the effort trying to cut the meat off the bone. Why is it so difficult to get good lamb these days?

Lunch with the girls (technically only Kate and I ate, Amanda joined us to chat) at the renovated Breeks at Ngee Ann City. The decor is nice now, more mature, but we prefer the older menu. Nonetheless, we gave it a chance.

Just realised I have a lot of back-log of meals to post! I have been slack. All these were pre-hair-revamp so, no, you are not tripping.
Had a leisurely meal at The Ship after my facial one day. I was totally planning on having 2x 6 of my favourite escargots. But the waitress recommended that I try the scallops. So I did.

This week's lunch with Kate was at The Plain. I've been wanting to visit this place for a while.
I had the Dean's Eggs which were perfectly poached eggs on toast with Vegemite and cheese. It was delicious!

Loysel's Toy is a quaint, adorable little cafe, nestled beside the Kallang River. It's a little tricky to find, but well worth the effort!
