While most of the student body and faculty enjoyed themselves at Hogsmead, an aloof newcomer decided to spend most of his day exploring the vast halls of Hogswarts in his lonesome. It was quiet here at the school, almost too quiet for his liking. He figured that most of this weekend's classes were suspended because of the trip. A lucky break for him since this gives him time to prepare a lesson plan. As the new alchemy professor, Hohenheim needed some time to adjust to both his new role and setting in this strange mysterious world of magic. He wasn't the kind of individual before to believe in the existence of magic. The alchemist in him forbade such childish thoughts and believed only in the power of alchemy. However since arriving here to Hogswarts, Hohenheim found himself questioning his old beliefs. This is why he looked so pensive today as he gazed at the mountainous horizon from the school's balcony. He's trying his best to come to grip with his new reality.
"There's no equivalent exchange when magic is used..." Hohenhiem muttered aloud as he rest his hand on the railing. "Therefore, is magic unlimited in power?" He chuckled "No, I'm quite sure there's a catch somewhere." Trying his best to recall the information he read earlier in the library, Hohenheim began to idly tapped his finger against the stone railing "Perhaps the over usage of magic is the consequence here. After all, it's an unnatural element unlike alchemy that utilizes the elements around it as compounds for the creation of various objects." Completely deep within thought, the old alchemist couldn't hear the approach of another above his rambling.
