[She's been dreading this all day.

The class itself had been enough. It had confirmed her suspicion that the emphasis - light and delicate as it was - he'd put on her name that morning had not been something she'd merely imagined. Even if he doesn't know the true significance of it, he knows enough for it to be problematic, and the idea that she's scarcely been here a month and already such a thing has slipped out.

It wasn't her fault, but she can't blame Robb either, and the desire to assign responsibility somewhere now has her thinking that perhaps if she'd planned or reacted better, she could have avoided this. Besides, it smacks a little too much like failure. Petyr will be disappointed, if he ever discovers how easily it came to light.

And yet, part of her was relieved that at least now she could be more honest with her brother. Their time spent together could be easily enough explained - they were closer in age than the others from Westeros, and shared a common homeland. It was not so far-fetched that they may become friends of sorts. She'll simply have to ensure they're careful, and that Robb keeps her secret to himself.

- that in turn makes her think of the teacher she's now going to see, the dread pooling in her gut a little more pronounced. Earlier in the day it had been impossible to determine how things might progress, largely thanks to his unyielding manner, and so Alayne finds herself at a loss as to what she might expect.

A boggart, at least. That was the true (and she still hoped it was the only) reason for her visiting him now. She's revised the charm - needlessly - over and over, but she knows where the problem lies. You are a Ravenclaw in blue. Why?

She'd had no answer then, and she has none now - but the idea of failing this, again...

Well, she'll simply have to see what lies on the other side of the door.

Stopping outside, she raises a hand to knock.]
