Who: Professor Layton, and everyone who replied to this post. (Those that haven't signed up are welcome too!)
Where: The Courtyard, under a pavilion.
When: Sunday, afternoon.
What: Fencing lessons!
Rating: G to PG
Warnings: Stannis might be teaching with flaming swords. None, at the moment!

Out under a covered section of the courtyard is a familiar professor in a tophat. Layton has just finished conjuring the last of the fencing equipment and has stepped back to look at his work so far. Mats, large enough for a pair, have been placed equally distanced from each other with the largest one out front. Enchanted swords hang by the side; one section is all practice rapiers, while another holds swords of different make like broadswords and longswords. Once satisfied that everything is in order, Layton turns to all those that have gathered.

"Welcome, everyone. Thank you for coming. I suppose I'll just quickly go over how the swords work before we begin the demonstrations and dueling." Layton takes a rapier and gives it a small flick. "The swords have been enchanted so that even the larger ones will not harm you. At worst, you might get a bruise if someone were to swing hard enough. Dueling will be done in pairs. Partners will change every so often so everyone can have practice with a certain sword style.

Also, apart from the charms already set, there will be no magic. If you have your wands, stow them away for the time being."

With his free hand, Layton tugs on his hat. "I think that will be all. Let's begin, shall we?"

[OOC: Okay, so feel free to post and backtag like crazy! If you want, put if it's okay for your threads to be threadjacked in the subject line. Threadhopping and mingling are wholly encouraged. Have fun! Also, I apologize for any fencing fail on my part.]
